THE REAL PROBLEM

when DID GETTING

FEELING LIKE YOU?

Here's what's actually going on.

THE colorist METHOD

THIS IS
STYLE PRACTICE.

There's only one very good life, and that's the life you know you want and you make it yourself.
Diana Vreeland

Personal style is something you create, and every choice is part of it. The Colorist Method helps you make those choices consciously. Through intentional practice and honest feedback, you'll stop getting dressed on autopilot, develop your eye, and build new habits around what feels like you now. The more you use your eye, the more instinctive your style becomes.

YOUR GUIDE

MEET THE
COLORIST

I'm Sofie, a Parsons-trained fashion colorist and mom of two with almost 20 years in the fashion industry.

I’ve worked across product, color, and styling for brands including Alice + Olivia, Haute Hippie, Lucky Brand, and Alo Yoga, where I built the color department from the ground up.

Motherhood changed the way I got dressed, too. Now I teach the same instincts I've spent my career developing so you can build your eye, trust your taste, and feel like yourself again when getting dressed.

FROM THE COLORIST COMMUNITY

WHEN YOUR EYE
STARTS TO CHANGE

THE JOY CAME BACK

“I am much older than you, but your page has really changed my way of thinking about fashion. I can’t pull off everything that I admire about your style, but I feel so much better about getting dressed. It’s exactly what my closet and outlook on clothing needed. You brought the joy back that I used to feel about putting together an outfit. Very grateful.”
ADRIENNE · INSTAGRAM COMMENT

PRACTICAL, PERSONAL STYLE

“You have the best style advice. It’s so practical and you’re not trying to sell only current fashion. I love that you help us find our own style. So good!”
TRACY · INSTAGRAM COMMENT

FOUND HER STYLE AGAIN

“I was feeling a little lost with my style after having my daughter. Your content is just what I needed. Thanks, and keep up the great job!”
PALO · INSTAGRAM COMMENT

REMEMBERED THE ART

“I grew up deeply loving fashion but became disenchanted as I saw how trends got recycled by major retailers over the years. Your account has made me remember what I loved about fashion as a child—the art. I really appreciate you and your genuine love of the craft.”
LAURA · INSTAGRAM COMMENT

STYLE THAT GROWS WITH YOU

“Thank you for posting men’s fashion advice! It’s really helpful, especially for guys who are getting a bit older and aren’t sure how to adapt their wardrobe with the times without looking like they’re trying too hard or dressing too young. Basically me!”
ESTEBAN · INSTAGRAM COMMENT

A NEW-ISH MOM FEELS SEEN

“I’m new here, and as a new-ish mom, I have to say I love this introduction and am absolutely appreciating this page so far!”
ANNMARIE · INSTAGRAM COMMENT

FASHION SPARKED AGAIN

“I’m a mom of two under two, and when I found your page a light went on for me about style. You sparked my interest in fashion again after almost twenty years.”
COSMICAHAH · INSTAGRAM COMMENT

STYLE THROUGH EVERY SEASON

“Your posts are so refreshing—not the same old ‘what can I sell you today?’ I remember how difficult the new-mom years were as a former fashion girl, and I find this empty-nester stage equally challenging. It can be difficult to find my style voice these days, but on the days I get it right, there’s no better feeling. Style truly is wellness.”
MARI · INSTAGRAM COMMENT

SAVED FOR THE FIT KNOW-HOW

“I love what you do and how you do it. I’ve bookmarked so many of your posts. Proportion and fit are so important, and you know them well.”
LAMURPHYRABLE · INSTAGRAM COMMENT

BOLDER WITH HER OUTFITS

“You encouraged me to be more bold with my outfits.”

BEFORE YOU JOIN

QUESTIONS,
ANSWERED

Do I need to buy new clothes?

No. The entire challenge is built around seeing and styling your existing closet differently. If you choose to shop later, you’ll do it with a much clearer point of view.

What if it's not right for me?

Give it the first week. If it's genuinely not for you after that, email us and we'll refund you, no hard feelings. The only ask is that you actually try the first few prompts before deciding.

What if I miss a day?

Nothing happens. This is style practice, not a perfect-attendance contest. Pick up where you left off, repeat a prompt, or jump back in with the current theme.

Do I have to post my outfits?

No. Sharing can make the experience richer, but it is never required. You can participate quietly, post only when you want feedback, or simply learn by watching.

What if I can’t attend the live session?

You can send in a question ahead of time, and the replay will be added to the private community so you can watch on your schedule.

Is this for beginners?

Yes. You do not need fashion vocabulary or a perfectly organized closet. The prompts start with noticing, trying, and learning what feels right on you.

Is this only for women?

No. The challenge is for anyone who wants a more intentional relationship with personal style. Sofie’s work is made for cool moms, cool dads, and everyone ready to stop defaulting.

How long do I keep the resources?

Your Style Library access continues after the 30 days, so the lessons can keep working long after the challenge ends.

How is this different from free style content?

Free content gives you ideas. Ditch the Default gives you a sequence, daily practice, a private room to ask questions, direct feedback, a live session, and resources you can return to.
